Just did day 1 of the 30 day shred and Jilian kicked my ass. I could feel the burn, also got my heart rate monitor today so it’s been a good day :)
Today's toning/strength
Just did:
16x dumbbell fitball squats and dumbbell rows (16x left arm, 16 right arm).
16x alternating backward dumbbell lunge and fitball dumbbell chest press.
16x step ups with dumbbells (16 right leg, 16 left leg).
ALL 3 times through, followed by:
Lower body twists
Single leg extensions
Plank on elbow for 1 minute

So today is my ‘rest’ day and I feel so lazy not going to the gym, I’ve been at it for 3 weeks straight, pushing myself at the gym and getting my membership’s worth. I know I need rest to let my body recover but does anyone else feel the way I do? Once you start to see some result and you feel great, working out becomes a part of your daily routine. Just did the following through twice:
16 jumping jacks
16 triceps dips off a bench
16 mountain climbers
16 fast low-step running right leg
16 fast low-step running left leg
16 push ups
Followed by 16 crunches, twisting crunch to right and twisting crunch to left x 3 times through.
I’m going to feel this in the morning
It’s almost 7am and I’ve been at the gym for an hour an a half. Burned 420 calories so far though have had to take it easy due to an injury on my thigh😓. Now moving on to weights, I feel AMAZING!!
